Day 1: Arrival in Ljubljana

You’ll start your journey by leaving Ljubljana and heading north through quiet countryside roads. The ride takes you past green fields and small villages, following mostly flat terrain with only a few gentle climbs. Approaching Kamnik, you'll get an amazing view of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the background. Once in Kamnik, you can explore its medieval streets, visit Mali Grad castle, or simply relax in one of the town’s traditional cafés.

Day 2: Cycling from Ljubljana to Kamnik

You’ll start your journey by leaving Ljubljana and heading north through quiet countryside roads. The ride takes you past green fields and small villages, following mostly flat terrain with only a few gentle climbs. Approaching Kamnik, you'll get an amazing view of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the background. Today, you’ll leave Kamnik and head towards the Štajerska region. Along the way, you’ll pass through quiet villages and farming areas, offering a glimpse into the Slovenian countryside. The last section of the ride includes a long descent into Velenje, a town known for its lakes and relaxed atmosphere. You can take a swim in Lake Velenje or explore the town’s castle.

Day 4: Cycling from Velenje to Maribor

Today’s ride takes you deeper into northeastern Slovenia. You’ll follow a scenic route that winds through valleys, farmland, and forested hills. As you approach Maribor, the terrain becomes flatter, allowing for a smooth final stretch into the city. Once in Maribor, take a stroll along the Drava River, visit the world’s oldest vine, or enjoy a well-deserved meal in one of the city’s traditional restaurants.

The ride is relatively easy, with only a few short climbs before reaching Leibnitz, a small Austrian town known for its wine production and friendly atmosphere. Spend the evening tasting local wines or walking around the town center.
